about me
Holly Denton was born in Perth, WA and has been performing since the age of four. Always having a love for the stage, Holly has dipped her toes in almost all elements of the entertainment industry. She has fronted numerous bands, including a duo with her father, Dean Denton (The Frames), performed solo at a number of large-scale events and travelled Australia touring her own music (currently available on Spotify) supporting a number of prestigious national and international artists.
Holly completed a Certificate II in Musical Theatre at WAAPA in 2010 and has appeared in a number of musicals and stage productions, including playing the leading lady in Ben Elton's We Will Rock You at His Majesty's, Crown Perth and The Regal Theatre. On screen, Holly has featured in numerous short films, television shows, commercials and international feature films.

Holly joined the radio scene in 2017, co-hosting a drive show on Radio Fremantle. This experience lead to her panelling and hosting her own community show in 2021 and eventually to reporting and producing on 6PR Perth (current).

In 2018, Holly joined Bamboozled Quiz Masters sparking a new love for hosting events. Since then, she has emceed hundreds of events from local pub quizzes and fundraisers, to large scale awards nights and events. Holly currently works as the Match Day MC for Swan Districts Football Club (WAFL), as well as the West Coast Eagles (AFL & AFLW).
With backgrounds in Special Education Support, marketing, social media, event organisation, administration, singing teaching and even gymnastics coaching, Holly has experience working with people from all walks of life. This unique journey makes Holly stand out and bound to entertain any audience.
